TREATMENT CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS
All certifications must be original, free of alterations and erasures, and printed in English. Treatment Certificates must contain the following information:
- A full description of the consignment and wood component
- All relevant identification marks and brands
- The number and/or volume of items treated
- The container number (where applicable)
Additionally, we recommend stating the following on your commercial invoice and bill of lading: All packaging is ISPM15 compliant and is free of bark & dirt.
APPROVED / ISPM15 COMPLIANT PACKAGING:
- cardboard, plastic pallets, plastic containers, plastic crates
- manufactured wood products that have been created using glue, heat and pressure or a combination thereof (examples: plywood, particle board, press-wood, etc.)
- any wood crate, pallet or skid that has the appropriate ISPM15 stamp.
NOT APPROVED:
- all wood packaging that has not been heat treated or fumigated (not ISPM15 compliant).
- all wood packaging that does not have the ISPM15 stamp.
